Good luck with the rebuild! Are you painting the chassis matt black? If so, be careful what you use as some paints are really good at hiding rust, they don't 'flex' that well either so you may end up with cracks in yer paint!

Going onto a galvanised chassis so putting on pur primer then 2k over the top. I sell paint and we also sand blast and paint commercial vehicles so will throw it in with the next chassis we do black.

Got a bit more done tonight, but it was slow going! Removed the floors in the front and the second row. Removed the pillars and also started unbolting the wings. Every bolt tonight more or less required cutting!

Can you get a section to set in for the bottom of the pillars as both are rotten. Also the section under the second row door in this picture. It is absolutely rotten!

Just off yrm site. Would be a good job will need to ask Santa!
Has anyone used the repair sections for the b pillar as I am curious how you achieve the correct height with the roof being off? Any help would be great!

Tonight I took off the wings and the seat box and made a bit of a start on the rear tub.
We then gave the shed a bit of a tidy and took all the bits out.
Hopefully another couple of nights and I will just have the engine and box sitting on the chassis.

Here are another couple of pics.

Tonight we finished taking off the rear tub and the bulkhead.

These both came off easier than I thought they would.

The bulkhead needs quite a bit off work so I don't know if I should repair, buy another one in better condition or a galv one? Opinions would be great or if anyone has one they would part with? Or if anyone is coming over to NI and they could bring one over for me for a few £ it would be great.

The new chassis is here now so not long before the build can really start.

Here are a few pics of the old chassis without the body panels.

I found him on eBay but cannot get in contact as the site will not allow it so if anyone has contact details that would be great.
