But wouldn't you have a fault if a flap is jammed? There's a blend motor for each side, plus a third for the distribution flap
Yes you would, unless the ribbon is knackered and it's not showing up on the screenBut wouldn't you have a fault if a flap is jammed?
Right, colder than you think, and hotter than you thinkThe question is how cold is the cold pipe and how hot is the hot pipe, one should be very cold, the other very hot.
+1 ^^^^^10c sounds rather warm at the vent if set to max cold
Sounds to me like it's low on gas, mine has the same problem and a pressure check shows it's well down.Fans working, no errors, no apparent leaks, AC gets cold. Had AC tested and they found 10deg at vents..while I think it's not sufficiently cold, they seem to think it's normal for these contraptions.
Since then have sometimes been getting a loud crackling noise from the RHS blower motor. Removed, inspected, cleaned and put back as all seemed well as motor etc is very smooth. The noise is more like some hard plasticky interference is going on at that side.
Any ideas what it could be?
Additionally: whats a good source for a new ribbon cable these days for the hevac? Few pixels are out and may as well fix the next time I remove it.
Thats what I thought however shop seems to think its ok .. these guys work on a lot of landies and came recommended...hmmm+1 ^^^^^
