Hi all,
I'm a frequent reader, and land rover enthusiast since birth. My dad's had land rovers my entire life; all series ones, the latest converted to a V8 from a rangie.

I've been going to trails for years, watching my dad compete, and sitting co-pilot when it wasn't too dangerous for young'ens. I was always fascinated with the coil springs and the look of defenders, and the incredible places they where able to get to!
I've been a proud owner of a defender for just over a year now - and it's everything I'd dreamed of!
She's great fun to drive, on and off road. Although the latter is a hell of a lot more fun :D:D:D Take a look at some of the trail pics from my club - mines got blue series 3 doors on it. And in the earlier pictures she's sporting white doors with a tyre tread sticker up the side... https://www.flickr.com/groups/iow4x4club/ don't laugh to hard at the goofy driving faces I'm pulling haha.

I've had a few issues with her, but none that I've not been able to overcome. Just gotta start saving up now, to get her all fancy new bits.

Out if interest, I live on the Isle of Wight, and was wondering if there are any members on here?

Hello mate, I've just been to the Isle of Wight for a few days and there seemed loads of defenders on the island. More than here in Essex.
So I suspect there will be a few owners from the island on here.

Lots of farmers down here! :D :D
And you need one, only gotta look at our roads to see that! haha

What did you come down for, if you don't mind me asking? :p
