Dear All,

I’ll soon be permanently located in Durham and since the purchase of my new wheels (In the Avatar) I’ll be looking for a proper off road course/location or two in the North East. I will trailer the Landy so no issues on the travel front. That being said I don’t want to haul myself down to Essex etc!

All advice welcome, including admission prices and rules if you’re suggesting pay & play venues.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew

Thanks guys.

I found a good link through a company called 4 Muddy Feet in Morprth which had a links-page attached. The company is closing down in a few days which is sad indeed.

Thanks for all of your comments and help - you're a great bunch:)

EDIT: And...... you've just pushed my post count to 50 which means I can advertise in the wanted section!!!!!

As I said before, you're a great bunch!!!!!

Thanks Kev, good info. I'll follow your lead once I get something worth using:eek:

Ripon is next on 16th of February, a good site, message if you're not wanting to go alone as we attend with a group of clients and friends from Durham Teesside Northumberland etc
Raiders monthly meet is tonight at the Winning Post near Spennymoor which we also attend and their events which are monthly (last Sunday)
Yes sad news of muddy feet's difficulties

Just seen this, sorry. Thanks for the info, much appreciated indeed. I'm not here in Jan or Feb but I'll be around for March I hope.

All the best,

Andrew

Did you find anywhere to go in Durham? At the mother in laws this weekend and could do with a reason to disappear for a few hours! 😁

We live in Durham and tend to go to Parkwood (also known as Tong) and do a lot of green lanes when the weather is ok. Sadly not much in the way of pay and play up here

New one near Stanhope now opened
13th of July 10-5 £20 per car
Quarry based, photos on our Facebook page (open access don't think you need an account) if anyone's interested
We usually have a group meet in Prudhoe and one from Tyne and Wear for events
