Changed alt for another and problem solved must of been a faulty alt I got

Hi update to thread running problem solved fuel pump relay had gone switched relay and running sweet as a nut again thanks for all help guys now to change alt and fix the non stoping issue.

Thank you will try tomorrow should the pump make noise when ignition it on? Thanks

It did a 10 mile drive today though where is this ft sensor located cheers

Cleaned sensor other day to eliminate that. Had a thought could a faulty fuel pump be causing running problem as I can not hear fuel pump running when ignition is on. I've tried the pump pedal purge procedure as well and stood next to fuel filler cap and still hear no pump? Is this normal

Hi sorry for the delay in replying I swapped the new alternator out for the old one I took off and the switching off issue stopped. As soon as I out the new one back in it returned. As for the running issue I had it plugged in and diagnosed and only real shown fault was egr value sticking...

Also could the wastegate module be at fault with the limp mode not checked it yet

Could swap my old one that doesn't charge the battery on to see if problem is solved? Then return new one for replacement?

Going to get it scanned at local garage over the next few days. Would the scan tell me the alternator is at fault or not?

Yeah plug was definitely the Wright way even checked with old one to be sure and engine problem continued even when alt was unplugged thatnks

Hi Ithere does switch off when r9 is unplugged sorry but I put r10 in to check and doesn't fix problem but it does switch car off when r9 is removed thanks

Also unplugged fuel pump relay and it stayed running but car cut out when plugging it back in?

Hi tried with r10 abs relay and no improvement. Checked red plug on ecm and was contaminated with oil, changed rocker gasket and injector loom and cleaned all plugs out tried and still no improvement.

Hi tried this morning and removed r9 and it turned off carnt try with r8 though as their isn't a relay there any advice on another relay I could try thanks
