    New 90 owner ;-)

Welcome chap. I am only just up road from you, assuming Redditch is your location. Posting pics can depend on your PC set up. I can only do it by setting up a folder in my Landyzone pics and then cop link address to a thread. My example below that I just posted. Hope this helps Land Rover Zone...

    Some Piccies From Wales Trip

Some piccies from recent trip around Wales. Nothing damaging (thankfully) but great lanes, views and some nice technical bits and bobs. Land Rover Zone - kwhajh's Album: Duke the Defender

    New noise

ok so check transfer box for oil and beyond that condition of oil. I found mine was like "baileys" so kind of knew it was ducked!!!. Having said that, it never stopped working and went through several off roading trips over 3/4 months. Probs is, you never know, it could go at any time if it is...

    New noise

had similar prob - turned out to be buggered transfer box

a very silly question. I THINK..........

I would add that P&P generally provide more challenging (for vehicle and driver) situations that greenlaning - accepting there are still some wicked lanes - either way, I agree, go with someone else and for me, dont do it unless you kit yourself out with recovery points and ropes, in particular...

    Rust - buying advice

To reiterate an earlier point. Go and see a few, bad as well, it allows a comparison and a gauge of what to expect. For a grand, go for a basic car without mods, you stand a chance of getting a better base. Ask if you can check oils in diff, gearbox, transfer box to get a view of condition and...

    Battery Light - 90 300tdi

Ok, got the same and heard this is not a prob. For clarity, turn on ignition, fires up ok and engine runs fine. Battery light stays on, but on touching accelerator, the light goes out (assume this is same as original post). Is this just not normal practice but perhaps with an alternator that has...

Is this a lot of work?

I think there is a lot better out there for that price. Loads of water in picture so car just been washed for photo and the camera always makes it look ok but pants when you get there. I had TD and it was fine but 200tdi is big step up. I got better one for £1500. Perhaps I was lucky but the...

    Drain plugs??

I would see how your particular LR goes. If when you remove yours after getting wet and find there is some water then it may be prudent to remove often. I find that after 2 or 3 sessions I have a couple of drops so dont worry doing it too much (2 or 3 months).
