LWB 3/4 tilt hood front rope hook fitting dimension request.

Yes! Exactly! I saw your earlier posts, and have book marked them. If I don't get the dimension, I'll make it up, must be nearly in line with the gutter. Incidentally, the aluminium bars that are inserted into the hood, how do they attach to the cab? There's buttons on the parts book, but I'm...

    Series 2 to 200Tdi Conversion

I've a TDI 200 in my series, with uprated head and IP. I tow with it, and have been known the push it hard. No problems with the box, but I change the oil annually. And I change gear slowly. Ten years since I fitted the turbo.

LWB 3/4 tilt hood front rope hook fitting dimension request.

Dimension request! I'm going to fit a 3/4 hood to my 109 truck cab. I need to fit the front rope hooks to do that. Does anything have the distance between the fold of the door frame and the rivets? Much appreciated!

Can I sandblast the axle without taking diffs outs?

Tricky. Almost impossible to stop the grit getting in. I used duct tape extensively when I did the complete back axle on my 101, sort of worked, but it was a Salisbury, so well sealed. I used wooden blanks to seal the front axle on my lightweight, but grit got in. So I used a wire brush on a...

    BULKHEAD

It's quite a few hours work. Anyone good will be charging £30+ per hour, so it could be pricey. If I was doing it: I'd start by getting it blasted, identify what's really bad. Unpick the spot welds. Day? Jig it up, then weld. Day? Blast again, and hot zinc followed by epoxy primer. Cost...

    nasty knock, any ideas?

Oh, photos of the"stuff". I don't think there should be any. Everything should be immaculate. I use brake cleaner and an air line to clean everything after washing in kero.
