I would definately get the intercooler hoses. I made my own rad pipes by extending the original hoses, using bits from the donor 200tdi too. Tom

New engine loom is £65 inc Vat from autosparks, I was looking only the other day. The voltage on the spade terminal onto the solenoid should ideally be the voltage of your battery, so not far off 12v. Obviously, this can only be seen as the key is turned to where the engine would usually turn...

No, that one is tight too. :rolleyes: Both have been tightened. Anyway, if the belts were not tight, then surely I wouldnt be getting any charge back to the battery, but I am (14.66v). Also, what would the terminal be for that has 16v? Thanks Tom

Power steering at the moment is not very good. No. I have not properly bled the system though (or at least that is what I have put it down to), could this have a bearing on it? Well, the belt between the PAS pump and the alternator is very tight, so there shouldnt be any slippage? Tom
