Ive been told by RPI of Norfolk that they have overcome all the problems with a 4.2 Supercharged What say you guys ?

Interesting Martynv8 which LPG system do you have ? Datatek ive been told a super lube system saves the valves and seats on these engines

Is that true of the 4.2 and 5.0 supercharged too ?

Wonderweld or Steel Seal are well worth a go if you feel it is the head gasket ! Its rubbish that they don't work they do in the right circumstances, I have a mate with a 4.6 who used a double strength one from Halfords he had the head gasket gone between a pot and a water jacket it sealed it in...

Also after checking the pollen filter seal, get the RR in the air (on a ramp if your big like me) if your small on high suspension setting slide underneath, above the bell housing on both undersides of floor pan you will find little rubbers they are drain plugs and get blocked with mud and dirt...

Thanks Guys im going to Maplins today and will let you know how i get on with the multi plug, Ive tried cleaned the OBD connector with no luck ! I will try once more but if that does not work I will follow advice and fit a replacement but that will have to be second hand as LR Dealer says part...

Hi ive recently discovered that my P38 ive had for 9 years has some corrosion on the electrical multiplugs, behind the kick panel in passenger footwell and the OBD connector plub causing a green colored build up ! its impossible to get inside the plug so need some ideas on a spray or liquid that...

My tuppence worth ! I have been having weird electrical and alarm faults ! think I have now traced it to the electrical multi plug behind the kick panel in front passenger seat footwell caused by a caused by blocked drainage pipes forcing causing dampness and corrosion ! Welcome to the nut house :-)
