foundry 4x4 , centre pipe , with or without silencing , got the non silenced version on mine , cant tell the differance with noise .

How old is the rad and did the system bleed properly ? A few years age had a 200 disco , only overheated when driving on dual carridge way after about 10 minutes turned out the rad was buggered .

As far as I remember as long as you use ALL the swivel assembly then they will interchange , outer ends are differant I think thats the issue , so use it complete .

I got a 300 auto and it's only got leccy windows , no sun roofs and no rot ( there had to be one ) never had any electrical issues other than the rear windows dont always go down , so far they always come back up though !!

Timing using the pins and drill bit's is as per manuals . Use tipex on the pulleys and on the timing cover , as long as they line up when new belt is fitted after turning engine over twice by hand , youre good to go . Did'nt know about pin hole in bell housing , but you can still pin pump and...

As a noob you may not understand , it's a landrover , no leaks means no oil , it's how we know that there's oil in there !!! It's not difficult , try and keep up !
