phew,ok can you put the flywheel in wrong,does it have to go on the same as it comes off is there a groove so you can't go wrong,it is worse now the dual mass has been done, maybe the injector pump is crying to be done as well, nearly at break point here seem to be curing one thing and...

oh **** i am driving this will i cause any damage no haven't asked already could be a case of dejaview sorry if my thread was unclear but the injector pump has not been removed,only flywheel and clutch and of coarse gearbox and drive train. will this bitch ever run right.

just collcted my car from garage,dual mass flywheel has been replaced along with a new clutch luk genuine replacements,feels different but,it still has a misfire on the overun and at a low speed,do you have to re time the injector pump or is it a straight forward refitting of parts putting back...

or a rating system like they do for hotels............. 5 star being the highest no stars ...........run.

yes i have the facts, receipts and unfortunately hearsay, wouldn't pin it on an individual just the name of the garage.

yes i am all for that but a clutch on a range rover is not a one man job,i have noone daft enough to let me drop the gearbox on them lol

yes he has but you can't just roll over every time, and the law system is a friggin joke,

for good service (they will collect) powerpark of banbury can't fault them. but don't just take my word for it.

think it is time to name and shame garages that give **** poor service and rip you off i had a new clutch put in last year at a cost of 550 quid,unknown to me at that time the p38's had dual mass flywheels and you are supposed to change these at the same time as the clutch,depending on how old...

yep recon pump is as good as new, just leaves a hole in your pocket,but on the plus side should give you a few more thousand miles.

it needs to be tricked into thinking everything is ok:D

you could try banbury gearboxes.they may be able to help.

decent socket, long bar, scaffold pole. worked for me.

well all is not well still waiting to get 2 gearbox bolts, dual mass flywheel has been a bitch,they have sent the wrong one 3 times and the same one twice wonder why the country is fooked, it is still in bits hopefully get it done by friday( note i didn't say which friday)

it has a major manufacturing defect the steering wheel is on the wrong side hope it still has warranty :eek:

what is the history of this engine? have you checked compression,do you know it is good? have you got all the bits in the right order,any bits left over?
