Just purchased a td5 speedo and binnicle to replace old set up in my td 90, anybody fitted one? Any tips to make the job easy?

Ezi outs tend to snap,just go up on drill sizes until the bolt is out.

Buy some decent drills and drill it out by going up in size , no reason why they should snap if you take your time.

I used a long masonary dril moving it round inside to clean the tube, bit of a bodge, but it did work!

The standard nut shiney cover doesnt come off, the locking wheel nut cover does.

And the barrel is easy to change, think it is about £27 the last one i bought.

You say ford are badly made? On what basis is this, when i worked at a GKN company ford set the quality standards all others followed.if a company lost ford q1 all other manufacturers stopped new buisness until it was gained again.Ford were also the only manufacturer to make sure the components...
