hi greg sorry to be a pain but do you think its poss that the stat could have been stuck shut and it is now ok as today its been on a run and it didnt over heat , the temp gauge reached just under half way and thats where it stayed ,

have run it in the drive from cold , no pressure on cap , can drive for some time before it over heats , also no contamination in the header tank , what do you think

when you say adjust , why does it need to be adjusted , the only adjustment that i found was when i replaced the switch the car would not start even though it said i was in park , so all i had to do was make sure that the long rod that switch clamps to was in the wright place , only had to move...

hi mate , stick with you d1 even if things go wrong , which they will its a landy , make sure its had a cambelt change check your oil levels and you should be ok , dont do as i did and start with a d1 and then think you want more toys and buy a d2 , i had nowt but trouble when i went down this...
