sierrafery Well-Known Member May 29, 2010 #2 When u open it check the child lock....move it up and down few times, push it hard to unlock position.....this locker used to mess things up.

lerk New Member May 31, 2010 #6 If holding the key over to keep the lock up doesn't let you open it, i'd be more inclined to suggest popping off the badge over the outside handle and pushing that all the way back towards the door...

I iansoady Active Member Jun 1, 2010 #7 What Lerk said. The outside handle pivot seizes up. Work it backwards and forwards a few times and squirt the lubricant of your choice on the pivots. Worked for mine.....
