When you bypassed the lift pump, how did you supply the fuel? As this might explain why it worked for a bit.

It definitely sounds like fuel starvation. Have you blead the injector pipes ?

Sounds like the return hose is blocked to me. If the injector is blocked it will run bad but it wont blow the pipe off. The blead off pipes are just for excess diesel, to return and therefore they should never be under presure at all. If they are there is a blockage. There should and has to be...

Hi Quilkyn, I have removed the body totaly on my 300tdi. You wont need to strip the body down, to lift it. I did find to my surprise that the body on my 300tdi was very heavy towards the back, it might not be the same on a 90, but something to keep in mind.
