1. Where is the wheel brace normal kept on a 2000 FL 1?

2. What size are the wheel nuts/bolts?

On a 2000MY Freelander the jack and wheel brace etc are stored under the bonnet.

On the 2001MY and later it moved to the underfloor storage area.

Wheel nut size is 22mm from memory

The jack and locking nut are under the bonnet but can't see the wheel brace.

Yep there should be a toolkit in a plastic bag with a LR logo bungeed to a bracket under the bonnet.
Unless someone's had it away before you bought it.

Yeah they are rubbish.
I know from experience after I stabbed myself in the leg with one.
 
At Gaydon (must be the the home of the Freelander - geddit?) at the Range Rover 40th anniversary there was a guy there selling Freelander toolkits, all brand new,the plastic boxed ones for the fishtank. Asking price ? £2 each. He had dozens of them. Maybe I missed an opportunity. Could ask at least £12 each on Ebay................
