i'd be interested to hear others opinions on chains as we get a bit a snow here too but i thought it would be cheaper to get a set of wheels of evilbay and some winter tyres looking at the price of snow chains unless i been looking in tha wrong place ...? "edit" - and if i was to buy a pair...

sounds like a bad earth from your battery to me mate , have you checked all your earths lately ? when you use jump leads you put the neg lead straight onto the block which bypasses the battery to engine/chassis earth so it should start , next time you try to start under its own power and it...

yeah and i is a fatty anorl which don't help wiv me lack of get up and go in me mpi , and the weight of them chippy wrappers and pie wrappers in the back is getting a bit much now .......:D

i have never taken mine above 70 but then again as it is an mpi i,m not sure i would get any more and i was running out of road to build up the speed with ....feckin ****e why didn't i buy a doozil burna ?

me luvverly old slow disco mpi dorris has a new citroen grand picasso and a push bike and a 125 suzuki (in bits at mo ) to get to work when the feckin mpi is broke again ... ... ... ... the bike is as fast as the disco lol

try repair panels and body mounts for all Landrovers, including Range Rover Classic, Defender, Series, Discovery

sorry to hijack the thread but i have a similar problem ..... mine works ok inside and out on turning left , but only works outside and one trailer click for turning right , the dash light does not light inside when turning right . so it can't be the bulb as i think its the same bulb for left...

yes mine are like that , only in the bumper , mine is a late 1994 , my lights failed due to corroded muddy wires under the bumper , and whoever it was that said the other lights are a pain to get to is right , they are an awful design , pain in the ass ( and fingers):D

the outer sheath rub where it routed by the inner wing then it gets rusty inside causing the t handle not to pull enough cable , dont yank too hard and snap the t handle like i did ... simple enough to replace though , if necessary cut the t handle off or disconnect from cable and use mole grips...

it used to take ages for the needle to rise to the top after filling up , now it only gets to half way even though i know the tank is full . is this something i could fix myself , if so how ?:confused: oh and i am embarrassed to let on that its a 2.0 mpi if it makes any difference to the...

it looks nice for a posers runaround or a rich tarts school run but as said is too expensive to take off road, i wouldn't turn it down if ya gave me one for free but it will be outta my price range till its ten years old . And why do landrover insist on having stupidly designed split tailgates...

as said if they want it they will do whatever they can , i tried the removing steering wheel on my triumph stag when it was laid up , when the police found it there was a pair of mole grips attached which they had used to steer it when taking it away ......
