how do u open ur bonnet if the puller will not work ??, it worked on sunday, but nothing today:doh:

Not had it happen on a disco yet, but on other cars it has been a case of poking round through the grille or from underneath with very long screwdrivers.

You did try pressing down on the bonnet above the catch while someone pulled the T handle.

Anyway this question has been asked before and someone said remove the N/S head light to get access by allacounts you you can 'yank' it from is fixings.

tryed pressing down on the bonnet above the catch while someone pulled the T handle. think its had a problem befor as the T handle is behind the N/S head light

the outer sheath rub where it routed by the inner wing then it gets rusty inside causing the t handle not to pull enough cable , dont yank too hard and snap the t handle like i did ... simple enough to replace though , if necessary cut the t handle off or disconnect from cable and use mole grips on cable to give it a good pull while someone pushes down on bonnet , also try pushing t handle or cable forward before pulling .

if you look through the grill and see the spring the part that it is connected to the right hand side has to be moved to the right. easier if some one is pulling the release handle at the same time. if you have been on pay and plays its prob full of mud like mine was
