Usual BCU problem of immobilisation of the engine. Can I re-programme the BCU with Nanocom and if so, has anyone bought one recently? They seem to be based in Cyprus; anyone know who sells them in the UK?

I'm in the process of removing the ACE on my car. I've removed the pulley and done some of the pipework but I can't remove the ACE block. It's on the RHS, mounted on the chassis - the reason I can't remove it is because there are no heads to the bolts. I assume there should be, the LR manual...

I have a similar issue when I had a IIA; it was easily solved by reversing backward about 10 foot. It's something to do with wind-up within the gearbox.

The rear one on my V8 is leaking really badly. I initially thought that one of the pipe fittings was leaking but the oil seems to be running out of the rubber corrugated cover. I'm guessing that the seal has gone/worn through. Are they easy to change?

It's not the watts linkage that's making the knock but the rear anti-roll bar tie-rods. It is a ball and socket type link at the top of each one and the left hand one is popping out when I turn left and snapping back when I turn right.

It was happening to my car too and I found out that it was the pump for the air suspension constantly on even though the car was locked. After saying that, it will probably be something totally different with your car; like the other guys said, a new battery may be required.

I think I found the problem. The electric pump for the air suspension was working all the time, even though the ignition was not on. I heard it first and took the cover off to check, the motor was quite warm and vibrated slightly. After unplugging it, the noise stopped, I've now removed it and...
