    Bit of a generic question but does anyone know of any scrap yards in or around Buckinghamshire that may have a discovery 1 drivers seat in it? Been searching or ages but can't seem to find one anywhere, even eBay doesn't seem to have much on it for the early 200tdi's

    Turns out you guys were right! Once I found the right place I opened it up and found...... One broken fusible link wire! Connected the two ends together to test and everything is back to working! I hope that someone else in the future finds this thread useful! Thank you for your help guys!

    all completed and matrix in place, however with my clumsy hands i managed to break some flap control rods and flaps in the blower distribution unit. So dashboard will have to come out again another day when money time and weather permits replacing that! Broken bits aside tho, the heaters...

    ah rite cool, I have bought a pack of assorted split pins just in case as I was in Halfords. Is there any other jobs i can take care of whilst the dash is out? or is it more a case of "if its not broke dont try and fix it"
