Just got home and noticed a puddle in the passenger footwell, seems to be coming out from behind the heater in the center console any ideas? i'm guessing a split hose on the heater matrix but i dont want to take it all apart if i don't have too!!

any ideas?

Has the puddle got antifreeze in it or is it rainwater/
Could be heater matrix leaking, could be connection pipes, could be condensate drains if you have ac, could be water in thro heater inlet if you have been thro a deep puddle, could be windscreen leak.

just had a better look it's full of antifreeze, i've just bypassed the heater matrix for now, will be ok so long as it doesn't get any colder!!

hi how did u bypass the heater matrix as I have a leak to, and dnt get a new one delivered till friday

Assuming yours is the same 3.9V8 there are two pipes running across the top of the engine and down in to the bulkhead i just removed the pipes and looped on straight back in to the other

cool thanks that worked but i forgot to reply, got the new matrix in but heaters not hot?

You'll need to bleed the system or you'll get no circulation and a cooked engine

ive been trying to bleed it using the plug on top of radiator, and all the pipes i can feel are hot, is there still more i need to do?
