If you do a search on here their is loads ov info on how to tune the pump and reset the pump assuming its a manual not an auto

Just get the heavy duty ones

Some one will have messed with your fuel pump as i have and thats y u will be getting that mpg.i get the same and my mates get a bit moore on same journey

Have got the same issue with my 90 300tdi was going to change the servo. I would be interested to no if changing the pads solves this

I had the same problem on my 90 300 tdi amd it turned out to be the pink dim dip relay behind the clocks in dash . Ps bought a new relay and it was faulty.

Would like a yellow one if u get any cheers

My d3 was smoking heavy (black) on aceleration turned out to b intercooler pipe. Might be worth a look cheep fix

I have never had a problem in snow and ice in my d3 and it gets nice and warm not like me fender lol
