This is classic symptoms of a poor earth, check behind the lights and trace the earth wire back to the body, undo and clean up the connection with some wet and dry.

Seeing as you have a SII Disco perhaps you could enlighten us as to whether the noisy fan is normal or not?

My Disco II does the same, sounds like a Chinook on full power when the fan is going at max setting. I thought it may be a clogged filter causing a vacuum but as far as I am aware, there is no pollen filter to change. Either we have the same problem or this is normal:confused:

V8 or diesel? The V8 tends to have a low pressure anyway. If it's still the same after an oil change fit a new pressure sender as Mad Hat says.

It sounds like you have an air lock in the cooling system. Drain and refill ( make sure the heater is set at hot), bleeding out any air. It is more worrying why there is an air lock in your cooling circuit? Is the cylinder head gasket OK? Good luck

The oil will be from the engine breather pipe that feeds into the intake tube for the turbo. I wouldn't worry about a small amount.

Does the noise go away when you push the clutch in? If so i would suspect the noise is from the clutch.

If the squeal changes its note as you turn there may be too much end float on your wheel/hub bearings, check they are done up right. The squeal is just the pad vibrating, a clean up of the calipers and touch of copper grease on the back of the pad should sort the problem.
