sound like air getting in the fuel lines to me. mine was doing the same, rusty pipes ontop of the sedimenter had cracked allowing air to get into the fuel. bypassed the fuel sedimenter and all is good now :-)

check under your oil cap for white gunk (the yellow cap), also try starting the engine and look at where you put in water/coolant and watch for air bubbles. if any of these are present then its more than likely head gasket. you can have it checked properly at a garage, i did mine last week for...

hiya mate, i have put on some 235/85/16 insa turbos and 2inch pro comp lift kit. its very capable offroad.

well ive decided im going to give it ago, im going to start collecting all the parts and will start it in just over a mnths time when i move in to the new house with the garage, ill get lots of pics guys so watch this space. ;-)

well guys at is credit crunch and i am skint as owt and urgently need an oil change, will morrisons extra value stuff be ok for the engine for a few mnth, or do u recomend scrapeing up the cash and getting the proper stuff ???

apparently so mate yes. i tried putting a 200 into my 300 auto, the gearbox wouldnt mate up without a very very contsly back plate. so i ended up scrapping it lol.

well good news, hd gasket hasnt gone, had it tested today, looks like oil and filter change tomoro, will the moneysaveing morrisons oil be ok ??? as im pretty skint., already got the filter.

is the 300 a manual or automatic ??

there great rubber mate, just had them on mine for about 6mnth. best offroad tyres ive ever had !!!!! very very noisy on the road, sound like a german bomber, but i begin to love the noise, or atleast i did.
