EAS question rear rises on its own whilst driving.

Update on this driven 300 miles found it wasn't as bad if I locked it on motorway mode but I have a recurring fault with rear left sensor so it looks like this might be my issue. Going to order one and will feed back results.

What mileage is your Range Rover P38 on? (1994 to 2002)

117600 currently needs a bit of tlc but planning on keeping it for as long as possible, has some issues but is probably one of the best cars I've owned in over 25 years of driving. Second only to my E46 320d Touring thinking about it. 3rd place would be a BX DTR Turbo so it lives in an eclectic...

    Whuuum!

Mine hums as well especially hot. The last time I heard this noise was on an old cavalier and vauxhall produced a modified pipe with a rubber section in it instead of a full metal pipe. Something about fluid harmonics. Why my rangie does it I have no idea but a fluid change is planned. Fluid was...

EAS question rear rises on its own whilst driving.

Cool thanks. Adjusted lr as it was 20mm too high. Will run it for a bit and see if the sensor fault comes back. Thanks for the help.

EAS question rear rises on its own whilst driving.

Right, have finally plugged in to check data using eas suite. Have 2 faults, 7 vehicle has moved (fixed leak so should sort that) 4 LR height sensor incorrect. I might be a muppet but I can't see where to clear these faults to see if they recur. Have checked and cleaned connections so wanted to...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Fitted new tailgate struts. They weren't head banging weak but they did allow the tailgate to slam when you closed it.

    Hi folks

No issue at all. Battery is measured on it's ability to provide power so a 110 ah battery can provide a 110 for one hour before dropping below 12v. The alternator is measured on its max output generally a little more than the car consumes with all electrics switched on. General rule is put the...

    Solar Panel

Most of those panels are only designed to maintain a healthy battery not to top one up that is being discharged. Max output on the ones I've seen is only .1a in full sunlight. It's fine if your car does not have a parasitic drain but isn't used for long periods but will not work if you are...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

EAS odd behaviour- sure I've read the cure recently but can't find it

Disconnected eas relay and only the rear has sunk so guess that means I have a leak in the rear circuit. If this was an internal valve body leak could this cause my random rising of the rear suspension?

EAS odd behaviour- sure I've read the cure recently but can't find it

Ah a search has revealed that if it sinks I have a leak if it doesn't it's a valve block fault. Reading up it appears that could also be my front end dance issue if the one of the nrvs is leaking. Time will tell!

EAS odd behaviour- sure I've read the cure recently but can't find it

Found some green corrosion in the bigger of the two white multiplugs and the earth didn't look too bad but cleaned it anyway. Checked all connections in eas box. Haven't driven it yet but seems quicker to respond to changes. Have pulled eas relay from under the seat to see if that affects it...
