In my defence, i wasn't questioning the spot lights for the roof, my question was can they protrude further than the bumper ;)

I thought (read somewhere) it was illegal have them come on with the main beam? I have a 3 position switch, Off (for the MOT), On with main beam or on constant.

I have a roof bar with LED spots on it but can't use them on the road so still want to add my spots to the A Bar for road driving.

I may have to go with smaller spots, don't really want to as I like the sort of Iridescent effect of the spotlights i have. Might resort to a chat with the local MOT chap see what his take on it is?

Just fitted winch and bumper to my 90 It originally had spot lights fitted to the A frame. Unfortunately the spots won't fit on the attached brackets due to the winch. I was thinking of getting a bracket welded to the top of the A frame to get a bit more height but this would possibly push the...

Call the RAC/AA, take out a new membership and they'll get him home (I think). May be cheaper than all the hassle he will have recovering it etc

I'd go with replace....you have them apart as it is and you can't fek around with brakes, its not worth it.
