Just lock it with the key, then it doesn't arm the motion sensor in the car.

My black Freeby have a dodgy clutch when cold, quite a bit of judder and an element of slip, especially first thing in the morning. Before I drive off I've been pressing the clutch down several times and it helps a little, so I think it might be the clutch pivot seizing slightly in the gearbox...

It's possible for early wheels to fit a later car when the brake pads are worn - mine was like this, only found out I had the wrong wheels fitted on the front when I changed the discs and pads.

I've got a new slave/master cylinder to fit to my 2001 1.8 Freelander, but when I released the pedal from the master cyl, the pedal came up and extra 3/4 inches towards the dash. Is this right, or am I missing a 'stop' to prevent it coming up so far?

Still never got this problem sorted, but thinking it's more than likely a faulty motion sensor in the car. The alarm doesn't go off when I lock the car with the key, but does when using the fob, unfortunately now my lock barrel is playing up too... Is it possible to disconnect the motion sensor...

Can anyone tell me which throttle body will be fitted to my 2001 1.8? I keep seeing write-ups on upgrading the TB to the alloy 52mm one, but also I've read that the 52mm one is standard on 1.8 Freebies. Can anyone clarify whether Freebies have 48, 52 or 56 mm TB's?

It locks fine with the fob, only the alarm goes off soon afterwards. Using the key works, but still flashes the indicators so was guessing it might still be 'superlocking' the car? I'm not getting any bleeps indicating a dead battery, so not sure whether it could be that?

Just checked a few posts on here, and the 'spider' seems to relate to 1996-8 vehicles with 2 button fobs. This car is a 1995 model and has the single button fob with LED. Does the 'spider' fault still happen with the earlier model?

Hence why I asked if it was repairable/replacable... :confused:

How can I bypass the alarm/immobiliser? Or preferably repair it? Is it easily replaceable?
