They have probably just carried out a dtc clear. If there was the odd spurious dtc stored, which is very very common. Then clearing it might have altered some parameters inside the ecu, which were previously inhibited. Its extremely uncommon to have no soft fault dtc's stored. Comms errors...

When you say its faulty. Can you clarify on exactly what the failure symptoms are? People also get confused by referring to the rear differential as the haldex, which isn't correct. The haldex sits between the prop and the differential, but isn't exactly part of the diff.

Driveshaft removal is done with a hammer and a blunt chisel/punch. When you come to realign the rear diff. Tighten both rear mounts up. Then start the bolts on the front mount, lift it up to the midway position and tighten the bolts. That should do you fine.

Um.... Your unplugging the haldex pump so the haldex is just freewheeling. when you plug it back in the haldex is working.

In reguards to the Haldex, they have 2 filters. One main filter in the top and a gauze on the pump itself. I've seen cases where the pump has failed due to excessive build up of sludge. I don't think there is a service schedule either in reguards to changing haldex oil or filters. Land Rover...
