99% sure Chapel Gate is still closed... Your ok on Stanage but its one way..... down only at the min... :D

Have a look at the Northern Monkeys Off Road web site.... Loads of days round the peaks and all the routes are legal :D and its free to tag along.. It pays to know what your travelling on, some of the lanes are one way only in the peaks....

Think there like most landys to be honest if you can keep on top of things and do most things your self then you'll be fine... if you have to run off to the garage everytime a bulb goes then your in for a rough ride and a expensive one at that... Ive just brought a 2001 TD5 disco. had to swap...

Def rear shocker bushes took me ages to find the clunk, only found it when i took it for a mot it was an advisory.... Was a cheap and easy fix saying i couldnt see anything wrong with them...

I brought a TD5 discovery put £30 quid of doosle in and the needle dunna move from empty! Needless to say i now drive round in 1l fiesta... stoopid fooking thing.... :p

And its full of tyre traps..... Even the legal lanes nr to it have these.... 6" nails hammered through bits of wood, nasty fookers....

i've just brought a 2001 es model its done 92k with full service history! First thing i did was change all the fluids, nothing like doing it yourself peace of mind... Just got the brakes to do now! You can buy service stamps off flea bay.. i asked on hear what to look for and got some good...
