To be honest, i think we're all kidding ourselves, I just taken the cat pipe off my 300tdi and replaced it with the defender non cat pipe for £20 and to be honest its the best 20quid ive ever spent mpg increased a gud 20% on mpg from under 20 around town to a good 24+ and i'm happy with that...

Serviced 500 miles ago renewed the lot and even cleaned out the sedimentor, arm full of diesel but it was worth it. Was expecting great improvements but bugger all....... Clutching at straws now.

Excellent! nice & cheap too, did it make any difference? My old 200tdi had a 3inch straight through system and was tremendous great noise too. Will give this alittle whirl and see what happens, Ta!

Had exactly the same fault on mine but only came on when I got newer biger tyres, strange, cleaning the sensors works a treat, but if that fails & you can't get to a garage for a few days to get it seen too just remove the fuse for the ABS under the dash, until its resolved. Not great long term...
