ah ok, ill make sure to rotate the G015's on the freelander then.

small storage bin type thing on the roof where you would usually find an interior / reading light. It has an oval hole in the bottom of it. Looks like not all models have it. Mines a 2005 3 door hardback

Ive not tried the G012's but not had any uneven wear / sawtoothing issues with the G015 and they dont seem to have increased in noise any in the year or so ive had them on although i do rotate my tyres front to back every 6 months or so.

No cruise control and I have a pretty comprehensive service history but no mention of anything being changed. The previous owner did give me a new ABS sensor but couldnt remember which side his mechanic said it was for :confused:. Im just really looking for other options in case it comes back as...

Dont know if youve bought new tyres yet but Im using Yokohama Geolandar G015's on my Jeep grand cherokee and I think theyre a great tyre, excellent in the snow we had last year in scotland. Ive just put a set on my wifes new Freelander 1 TD4, cost about £76 each for that size.

yeah I checked the level and its ok. Going to get it booked into an indy this week to get the codes read as my cheapy OBD code reader is showing no codes.

I bought a 2005 3 door TD4 at the weekend for my wife and it has a few issues I need to sort out (I got it cheap ;)) I have it running great now after cleaning the fuel rail pressure sensor but still have to sort out the lights on the dash. My question is, would a faulty handbrake switch cause...

ha ha that was exactly what my wife said when we were trying to figure out why it had a hole in it, she was only joking at the time though! Damn now ill have to tell her she was actually right :(

I had the very same problem on a 2005 TD4 we bought at the weekend. Did some reading up and ended up unplugging the sensor and spraying a load of contact cleaner in it and when dry some WD40. Connected it back up and now running absolutely fine :) The post I read said to first unplug the sensor...
