Not really :p For a start, P38's have pastic petrol tanks, no rust to worry about. Also, nobody takes their P38 off road, so rust isnt a problem anyway :) It doesnt matter how good a cars history is. Anything can fall off at anytime. As long as the car is in sound condition when you buy it...

Shoosh you. It actually looks fantastic. It's in better condition than when i bought it. Cruise control's working now too. Replaced the hoses and jobs a good un. Must have been a split i couldnt see :)
