right iv found out for sure what is happening, i pulled up on my drive this evening and notice water dripping fast from rad, opened the bonnet and saw that water was squirting out of the pipe which goes to the water pump, (the fat pipe on the left) the pipe looked pressured as it was blown up...

stook a rolled up newspaper into the fan tonight after it had been running for a while, well....think iv found a new shredder !

How often do you top yours up ?

Hi just wondering if anyone has the same problem, i checked my water level in expansion tank on saturday and noticed it was very VERY low, and slight dripping from rad, also as you look at the engine the pipe on the left from water pump to rad was like blown up a little, i went to my local auto...

Thanks for the input guys but it was my alternator that had gone :/ my mechanic swapped it did his tests, we just cant understand what the car wash had to do with it, ohh well all is well now.... whats next !

also i have jumped it off another car took it out for a good drive, left it running for over an hour and battery was still flat, now im thinking alternator but how wiould this relate to the car wash, also whilst driving through the car wash i noticed the battery light flash a few times :/

Hi all, got my rr back today drove it home and thought id take it through the car wash on way home everything was fine untill i got it home and came to go back out battery was dead !! any ideas please help thanks, appreciate it :)

Hi everyone, been talking about this in another thread, but want to here what everyone thinks, right... Me and few mates are on about going down to Cornwall for a long weekend and ill be towing the jet ski, should I trust my DHSE to get me there and back and the odd travelling whilst down...

That's alright then, spoke to garage again today hes serviced it and says its quiet a good car, engine sounds a little tired but will be good for another 50,000 miles + with service regularly enough, quiet pleased about that :) also hes had it on the ramp and checked all air bags, its got 2 new...

Suppose im in the AA not that ther any good, but theres always a tow truck available within 3 hours ! its just the inconvenience :P

Hi all, right the garage have been looking today and they have found that the main line from the battery had been bodged together and left draped over the exhaust and the plastic had melted and was short circuiting. There having a good check around car for me tomorrow and giving it a full...
