Yeah know what you mean mate, looked at cheapish unit prices last year when I did the welding and new head on Disco. Too expensive with running water and leccy just couldn't justify it. At least on your own drive you can jump straight on it after work/weekends or whenever you get 5 mins.:)...

    Feedback about event please

As this thread seems to have calmed down a tad, i would like to throw a few suggestions into the hat if i may. Please feel free to disregard any/all content at your leisure mainly hoping to inspire others to come up with much better ones. I realise much of this has probably already been...

Are there any types of noise that the Council cannot deal with? We can only take legal action in relation to statutory noise nuisances. We cannot normally take legal action, for example, in relation to transport noise. If you are not sure whether we can help, it’s best to contact us directly...

+1 Sounds like a right **** If he was the sort to try and compromise he would have by now. The council have to take all reports seriously, after all you would expect this if you were suffering from a noisy neighbour. Forgot he was next door but one, so even if they did put...

Just a standard letter nothing to worry about, they are obliged to notify you by law I think. They are also obliged to notify you if any action will be taken or complaints escalate at each stage. Since your work is only occasional I can't see any problem as long as your paint chemicals...

out of interest, since a lot of you really seem to know your stuff, what, if any is the relevance of the three letter coding before the part nos i.e. stc, rtc, ftc etc.. Are they sub grouped for example washers, bolts O-rings, hoses. Always wondered when ordering parts searched and asked...

This is how I did mine if it helps. Once you can see the springs it sort of becomes obvious if anything's wrong. Gear lever should line up with 3rd and 4th requiring pushing against the springs to select 1st/2nd or 5th to the right...
