    SORTED.... Twas the A-frame joint that was 'Clunking'. BUT... what an arseole to get off!!! ( I gave up, and let the garage push the bugger out):mad: Still got some backlash in the transmission, but not enough to bother me. But, overall a great improvement.:)

    Yep.... the cowl is off, and running temp is fine, and today has been warm - and I've been stuck behind a few Emmits ( believe me they do drive at snails pace), and the temp gauge hasn't moved from where it normally sits. So, until I find some new bushes - it's staying off:D

    Do I really need the fan cowl on my 90? Only ask because one of the rubber connecting bushe's ( top) has perished, and bust. Tryed to find a new one, but given up. So, I was thinking of removing the cover completely.:eek:

    This happened to me a couple of weeks ago... change the Master, and Slave cylinders, bleed the system, and that should cure it. Worked for me anyway,:)

    I have to agree, since adjusting my pump I'm getting a considerable increase in performence. I've only adjusted it the once, but reckon there's a tad more to be squeezed out of her yet. I reckon I'm getting at least an extra 15miles to a tank too.:D

    Here's pics of what I found behind my dash... Hope they help. It took me about a week to weld grind out, and weld some plate on, and then saturate the bugger in waxoil.... that was doing a bit each night after work. The big hole below the wiper motor. I welded plate to it from the cab...
