When I got the Freelander for my wife only the tweeters worked and one big speaker. Took the door cards off and the plug which went into the big speakers was wet and the connections corroded. I cleaned the connectors with a file and they all sprung back into life. - Easy fix (in my case!)

Just looked at a picture of a vogue battery on another 4.4v8 which has a yellow connector with 2 wires into it. Maybe nothing but mine has been replaced with two crimp connectors (the yellow connector has been removed). Is the yellow bit just a connector? or dose it do another function ?
