There's several land rovers listed like this every day. It's not just defenders either. All kinds of cars are listed at prices too good to be true. WeBuyAnyCar would no doubt pay the seller more money. It's got to be a scam. I'm just not sure how it works and don't want to test with my own number.

They certainly aren't strengthened on the back of my 2005 110. I inspected very carefully before going down this route.

My MoD 110 is strengthened front and back. There's a pipe welded inside the chassis where the jate rings pass through. My Td5 is only strengthened on the front holes. I don't think it would take much to damage the chassis without that extra strength.

I've had 7.50 235 265 285 and 305 widths. On the road driving I couldn't tell the difference between the 4 smaller sizes. My reccomenfation would be to go for 265 over 235 purely on the fact the look slightly but not massively wider and you won't notice the difference off road. Also I've had 2...

They'll look silly with 235s. This is with 305s. I'm not a fan but they keep me legal.

They should certainly last longer than a year. I installed a mild steel to mine and took it off after 3 years. It had surface rust but no rot. Maybe you've just been unlucky with a batch of nasty steel.

I can't imagine it being that much louder on a diesel. I've got a straight 3" stainless pipe front to back. It's not an obscene noise. Looks like that system has mufflers still. We're your exhausts that rotted cheap pattern parts? You could probably buy 4 more mild steel systems for the cost of...

I've used Silverline 3 times now for wheels and tyre packages. They've always been very good. They've been competitive too

You just need a straight through pipe now lol - Someone asked me the other day if I had a V8. I appreciate that it doesn't sound like a v8 but it certainly has some presence.

Top speed with the big tyres and 1.2 is way too fast for a Defender. It will touch 90+ (GPS not speedo) if you're brave (or stupid) enough. It cruises nicely at 70mph without feeling too revvy.

I think it was only the 110's that had the 1.6. I had a 1.6 briefly with a 200tdi. Acceleration was crazy but top speed was limited. I've got a 1.2 right now.

The army has loads of lhd 110 wolfs. When I was in the army and based in Germany that's all we had. They just aren't releasing 110 Wolfs at the moment in any significant numbers. The ones they do release are normally trashed.
