We stayed at the Coniston Hotel in Skipton last night, and then this morning, we did the Land Rover Experience thing. It was bloody fantastic. Really good fun. It was well timed too, cos tomorrow we go to pick up The Beast. Pics to follow. Esm xx

Walked into the Kendal dealers. There is a guy sitting on a sofa, playing a guitar and singing badly. What a racket! It turned out that he was the Warranty Manager who was retiring, and spending his last day doing what he loved best. I love Land Rover! Esm xx

Our finances are finally in place for us to go to the dealers next week to order a brand new Landy 110. We won't be buying it on HP, but will pay for it outright. Can anyone advise whether it is worth trying to haggle? Or is it a case of you want to buy it and that's the price you pay? I just...
