no, the body tub braces support it underneath, 4 of them if its a 110 & a fifth up by the rear body crossmember...the nuts on the tub above the crossmember are captive plate type that rivet to the tub...otherwise the 2 centre most fixing points , you cant access the nuts unless you drop the...

not while stationary, well you can move the lever but it wont come on until you start moving...so if youre already unmovably stuck youre buggered. read the track ahead before you get stuck and or walk it first if unsure...if it looks like you might get stuck engage it first...wont do any harm...

you can engage diff lock at any speed but the lock will only come on when all 4 wheels are rotating at the same speed

the eberspachers are good as are the webasto's....big bucks new..you can pick them up on ebay second hand but youll have to engineer fittings to the coolant/fuel yourself & get a mini exhaust for it & possibly timer if you want it to start up while youre still toasty in bed

Eberspächer UK - Water Heating

really? the eberspacher im lookin at runs off the fuel line, fires the small combustion engine in the heater & heats the water system, hence having a warm cabin & engine before getting in the car...how is the engine water going to be warm already in a non running engine?????

mine did out of the blue...tbh though IF it is the plate, its mega easy to sort it...drain the fluid, unbolt, clean up, use a tube of sealant round the edge, reverse the removal & fill up...done...or if you cant, whack some transmission stop leak in it & check the level regularly

how bad is it? if its only small leave it..they all leak from some part of the trans/engine. My t box was splattering all over the rear axle for months til i fixed it...best rustproofing you can get
