Hi folks, anyone know who simple it is to add rear 'dickie' seats to a D1 that is a 5 seater as standard? Are the mounting points all there, hidden by the trim panels by any chance?

Definitely something not right here, a crooked service operative at a dealership can easily order spare keys and presumably sell them on for a premium price! The police need to take more interest in this for sure. Keep us posted and hope you get it back.

Chances are on a 52 plate D2 that you won't have the internals in the transfer box for the diff-lock. The early pre-facelift ones did but still had no lever fitted. For yours you would most likely need a new/used transfer box and lever kit, gets very expensive. A D2 can get most places without...

Yep as above, you certainly don't have to do a training course before you go, it's recommended though so you know how to get the best from your motor but up to you! Open this Sunday for pay n play!

I am yes, so obviously slightly biased :-) Seriously though I love off roading so any decent site would get my vote, there are not enough of them!! Its really hard to get the balance right between making it challenging and fun but also keeping it safe and suitable for everyone. Tong sometimes...

Just think we are lucky to have 3 good places on our doorstep, all offer something a bit different!

You just fill in the form to say it's at your risk basically. And yes a failed hill climb is just using the engine to control the descent rather than free wheeling it or locking the brakes! The £120 event was a special structured day with an instructor for total novices, the normal pay and play...

There is a play day at Parkwood 4x4 (aka Tong) on Sunday the 19th, wasn't going to be one until September but the site owners have decided to run it. Should be fairly quiet and thus a good chance to socialise and have a good day's off-roading too. Anyone coming? I will be there!

I've swapped the front springs now for a +2" as I decided to go for a lift so these are surplus to requirements. HD springs for the front end, standard height. Also included are 2 x 10mm shims to give a little more height if required. Very good condition, only around 3 months old. £50...
