    abs pump

Questioned the local garage concerned regarding bleeding and he readily admitted he had not bled the booster at all :scratching_chin:, didn't evan know there are bleed screws on there  Looks like I am going to have to DIY. don't you just hate it when you pay someone to do a job then you...

    Steering clunk

Got a 'clunk' at the top end of the intermediate shaft. Not much movement, hardly decernable with the engine running. Can get it to move very slightly up and down with the steering lock on (ignition key removed) and it does clunk.

    abs pump

Morning Keith, I timed mine this morning according to a comment by wammers in a previous thread and it is inside the time limit for first time start in the morning. I have also been taking notice of whether the pump operates on 'every' press of the brake and it does not. However, I still feel...

    abs pump

Thanks for the answer autofabrique. The brakes are working fine it is just that I have noticed this buzz more since the local garage replaced corroded brake pipes for the MOT. He is not very au fait with later vehicles, preferring non-computer, 'proper' Land Rovers. I did give him the print...

    abs pump

I may have this problem. However, it seems to have started after I had some brake work done by a local garage for the MOT. I wonder if this could be caused by not following the correct bleeding procedure?

    tyre question

Thanks MHM. No Howl from mine, they said it was as a result of a radius arm bush being worn and I can see that might be the case. They also said it might be causing my tram lining, got to get that sorted next.

    tyre question

I recently visited my local tyre supplier and was told one one my tyres has a bit of 'toe and heal' As I ain't got a clue what he was talking about I thought I would ask the learned gents on here what that means. Also, I am looking for an 18 inch 3 spoke wheel (and tyre) for my Rangey, part...

    steering box adjustment

Thanks again Wammers. I have had the tracking adjusted but I dont think the steering wheel has been off. What I do know is that I had to get a Radius arm bush changed for the MOT and that the N/S/F tyre has 'toe and heel'? I also think the EAS has been messed with at some point and I have not...

    steering box adjustment

Thanks Wammers, I took it to a tyre company today who said they would sort it for me but they (like all experts) refused to listen. I even printed the page from RAVE but the insisted on locking the steering wheel in central position. So, I decided to get on and do myself. V8HSE, tram lining...

Hi Saint, thanks for that. I already have a Hawkeye and the bluetooth thing is more curiosity that serious consideration to use one although there are some aspects that do appeal.
