    As said before, change your oil pressure switch and hope that's the problem, if not you have a blockage/pump problem. But do it soon!!

    I'm guessing it's a diesel then! The DSE suffered from in-tank pump failure but would normally gravity/ engine pump feed until about 1/4 tank and it couldn't cope by then!

    I'm guessing it's a Discovery, is it 1,2,3 or 4? petrol or diesel? what year is it? Have you declared and aftermarket immobiliser/alarm? if not they should be able to tell from the reg what's fitted as standard!!!
