OK, I have replaced the transfer box oil seals and refitted whilst I was waiting for the new seals I decided to whip off the red plug on the eng ECU to check for oil contamination, thankfully non there.
Anyway, put the box back on and went to road test it and it fired up and ran for approx 3 secs(in that time it can also be revved).
Removed the engine ECU again to check for plug and pin damage, all seems ok.
Mate called round with TestBook (ex rover tech) and it appears theres no communication between the BCU and eng ECU so it's not getting the signal to mobilise ECU, tried getting T/book to foce engine code and it couldn't so my next job is a continuity check between pin 34 on C0658(eng ECU) and pin 10 on C0661 (BCU).
Just wondered if anyone had come across this before as it was fine until I refitted the transfer box and checked multi plug on eng ECU for oil.
Oh yeah no faults in engine ECU!
Thanks
Chris
