    Rattly Cats

How much? Knock up some 3mm Ally plate and attach some of that cheaper matting to it then attach it to the floor with stand offs. I'm not doing any real mileage in it yet till I've sorted some of it's issues out.

    Rattly Cats

I'll have a go at that then as a temporary fix. I was more worried that it was a sign of something more horrid, but if they are prone to it I won't worry too much. I've checked the exhaust gas temperatures and they seem nice and even so should be ok. Christmas is a coming so the Rangie needs to...

    Remote locking issue

Motor gone/wiring to motor in drivers door. Switch still ok but moto not meaning when you turn the key the switch works but you are manually over riding the motor. Can't explain the boot though.

    Rattly Cats

Right, now the P38 blunderwagon thinks it's getting it's current list of problems fixed it's decided to add to the pile. Seems one of the cats has broken up and is busy rattling like a skeleton having a **** in a dustbin. Is this a common problem on them or is it a side effect of a more deep...

    4.6 OVERHEATING!!!! issues

I would have thought it would be highly unlikely you would get the viscous cutting in in this weather. To test it you need to get it stationary, blanket over the front and steaming hot, then with it running try and stop it with a gentle touch from a broom handle. If you turn it off it will not...

    4.6 OVERHEATING!!!! issues

The only sure fire way to test for a blocked radiator is to have it professionally flow tested. Pouring water in one end and it coming out the other doesn't prove a thing. You have two tanks connected by a myriad of tubes forming the core. You can have all but a few of these blocked solid and...

    speed ratings!

The tyre manufacturer will recommend a direct replacement. We can't get Michelin 305/30/19 anymore in an N0 or N1 but they now do an N3 which is there recommended replacement. The other thing to remember is tyres also need to be less than 6 years old. (All tyres are date marked) EU block...

Getting tree mould and sap off. Any magic ideas?

The local "hand car wash" I'm banned from after having a rather enthusiastic argument with the owner when one of his mouth breathers decided to scrape the lance up and down the bonnet of my car then deny all knowledge despite fresh flakes of paint. So that is kind of out the question. Hellfrauds...

    Why do I never learn?

The reciever has power and ground to it, but scoping the output shows no output at all, remote pressed or not so it looks like I need a reciever to start with. Now I've been looking at these nanocom widgets. Will they unlock the BECM and turn the immobilisation off? In all honesty I'm going to...

Ok so that's two votes for caravan cleaner. Bottle now ordered off Fleabay. I'll attack the mouldy interior tommorow instead. Thanks for the advice folks.

Getting tree mould and sap off. Any magic ideas?

That will be the stuff but it seems to have a coating of sap with it as well. Doesn't help that I don't think it had been cleaned for several years previous to that. I shall give it a go. I shall go ask the misses if we have a scrubbing brush. :)

Getting tree mould and sap off. Any magic ideas?

My P38 has spent three years lying backed up to a tree in someone's garden until I rescued it. Plenty of tfr and a pressure washer has removed most of it, but the back of the car nothing seems to want to shift it. I've tried everything from star drops to G3 cutting compound. The buffer just...
