    Broke Down Again!

I agree with mickwall, great recommendation for this company and I'm glad they've sorted out your issue merlinpjl.

Its Been a Year Now - So whats the Damage??

Just because something may be produced in the same factory doesn't mean they are the same product, or are constructed from the same materials, or made to the same standards, or have had the same R&D poured into them.

    Which version should I buy?

Speaking as someone who spent a great deal of time "around London", I can assume you this is most definitely not the case. They probably should be, given that London and the South East generates a sizeable portion of the UK's wealth, but hey, that's another topic... ;)

    Instrument cluster bulbs

Good guide on rangerovers.net if you need it - I used it the other day when I changed my O rings and fitted some silver bezels. I disconnected the battery before I did all this, not sure if you technically need to, but better to be safe than sorry.

Its Been a Year Now - So whats the Damage??

Whilst it does depend on the tyre, I respectfully disagree with those who say budget tyres are as good as tyres from conventional brands, plus saying you can 'read the road' better is, again respectfully, jive. :) If your tyres don't allow you the confidence to jump on the brakes when someone...

    Which version should I buy?

Hello and welcome! Each to their own of course, but before I bought my MY2000 P38 Vogue (a 4.6 V8), I test drove a few of the diesel models and found them severely lacking in both the pace and refinement that I'd expect from a car in the class of a Range Rover. I don't think these were...

    Road Trip Prep

Dear god man! All the way into France and you come back with a boot full of cooking oil? Where is your vin rouge? Where is the foie gras? Where are the onions and stripy jumpers?!? In all seriousness, well done on a successful trip. I imagine you feel much more "at one" with your P38...

Its Been a Year Now - So whats the Damage??

SaintV8, truly excellent post and a perfect example of what forums like this are here to do. This is a truly insightful look into year 1 with a L322 and what it involves, and thanks for taking the time to put it together - I imagine you're a man who likes spread sheets... ;) Just for my own...

    P38 front side lights dead

I'd be asking the place that serviced it! Presumably everything worked before the service. Are they Land Rover specialists? Did they wash the carpets and get the BECM wet? This could cause all manner of issues.

P38 Front drivers air suspension drops when driving

Sounds like a leaky airbag and possibly compressor. Have a search on this site and rangerovers.net for air suspension issues - there is a LOT of information about this topic.

    Stereo sat nav

Can of worms! This is a challenging topic. It's possible but not easy. Presumably you've used the search function as this is something that has definitely been discussed before.

    Black hurricane alloys - Swap?

My recently acquired P38 Vogue has four powder coated black 18" hurricane alloys. Picture below. https://www.dropbox.com/sc/jmllc3oguhre3v8/4xnHwxJUmz As much as these are attractive, they aren't necessarily my first choice when it comes to looks, so I'd be willing to do a swap with...

Harshness (slight vibration) during slight acceleration

If this is something that goes away when you accelerate "hard", then it suggests that something is resonating at a certain frequency. Could there be something loose relating to the moving parts of the transmission drive system, even something as minor as a bit of trim or slightly unbalanced...

    Door card mushrooms!

As others have pointed out, plenty for sale on eBay for hardly any money at all, why bother with an alternative solution? On a similar vein, and in a blatant thread hijack, does anyone know where you can purchase the colour coded "pegs" used to hold bits of trim on? I'm thinking the same...

Oh no the list is growing

Is it stuck in (the amusingly named) sport mode? The other thing is that the throttle adapts to your driving style, so if you're using lots of throttle to get places quicker, it could be factoring this in to how long it's holding gears and trying its best to extract maximum performance. If...
