My Td5 will do that with its TC and with the diff lock enabled to I have the best of all worlds with it, how ever it never gets dirty and sits on massive Range Rover wheels, as I have a 300 as a toy that gets dirty and abused. Soft roaders have there place, normally with Rav4's and Vitara's :p

Mines done every 10k, never had a service stamp in the last 6 years but dad has used one of those dyno things and lables it under the bonnet so he can see when it was last serviced everytime he lifted the bonnet.

The ram inside the drivers side wheel arch, mine leaks from there it was intermittent to start with until it got to the stage where it leaked all the time. Once I moved the rubber boot I could see how damp the ram had become.
