I have put in a new temperature sensor but still no start. Will have a check on the earth points tomorrow. It is strange that the car will crank but give up after the fan turn 1/4 or so......I hope it is nothing to do with engine seize or fly wheel broken.

Thanks rewmer, I had a look at all the relay and fuses, non were blown. Would the fuse box problem cause the P38 to crank and fan turn 1/4 turn then out? I read somewhere that you can short a relay slot to test the started, not sure which one.

It is not the adhesive failing, it is a layer of wafer thin polystyrene foam between the fabric and tin roof. If you spray adhesive behind the fabric more polystyrene will come loose in the form of powder. Only way is to do it is to strip it all off so there is good bonding between the tin and...

Yes wammers it was screw in and I think the front part snapped off. I have yet to find a sensor having one 1 wire :(

GEMS 4.6 does putting in the EKA code via driver door re-sync the P38?

Car won't start, could be million of things It is not my daily driver but I do need to get it running at some point, my wife is not happy :blah: in my ears all day since it broke down and fail to start

I thought it would show engine disable on dash? I did try putting in the code via driver door and I am sure I didn't get it right as I don't see any confirmation light. When I try to start the engine it turn for 1 sec then stop, battery seems good.

New battery in but it wont start :( Although there is no error on dash I think I need to plug it in and have the code read :(

Any solutions? do you think I need a new cable ?
