just been out fitting diff protectors and noticed a nasty bit of rot right infront of the front drivers spring hanger and its pulling away.:mad: was gonna use it today to go and collect some logs, never mind at least i noticed it before it was too late.

yea its gonna need a good going over but my main concern is the chassis and maybe the bulkhead get some pics when i see it, the seller has a farm and his 110 is registered on red so i think the 109 would have been as well so ill make sure to get reciepts if i buy it.

got the chance of buying a series 3 109, it has had a galv chassis fitted BUT it has been left in a field for at least 5 or 6 years i know the bulkhead might need some work but would the chassis have survived the neglect. i havent seen it yet but i have been told that the engine turns over just...

i sprayed mine with one of those electric spray guns from argos for about £70 pound, and spent about £15 on gloss from the local hardware shop. That was about 4 years ago now and it wants doing again. Looked stunning when i done it and i have never sprayed before.

thanks both but i cant check inside the reg its a sealed unit the landy is ex military if that matters. 1963. all the manuels show the ones that you can open and adjust but not this one.

my series 2a only has 2 thats why i want to seperate things, when a fuse blows now there is about 6 things going down with it

the only thing he found wrong was the washer pump wasnt working properly but it did put water on the screen so let me off with it.

my landy passed her test today after being off the road for the last 2 years. Still got a prob with the gearbox not coming out of 4 wheel drive but got freewheeling hubs on so not realy worried at the moment, just pleased to be back on the road she is 48 years old now.:)
