    Defender dipped beam problems!

Most likely the switch. As stated too much power going through it. Renew it and fit relays. Shouldn`t trouble you again.:)

    Help with suspension decision!!

I would stay with standard springs and upgraded shocks. I also fitted some air bags to the rear, this makes a great difference when loaded up. Then deflate slightly when unloaded. Added front and rear swaybars drives great!

    Defender 300Tdi. Alternator regulator.

Thanks guys. Yes already got a disco pulley, smaller. It all seems to work fine and batteries are well charged. Just thought that with the larger alternator it would put out a little more. Cheers.

    Defender 300Tdi. Alternator regulator.

Hi guys, Searched the site but can`t find any answers. Replaced my 65amp alternator with a 100 amp model. Is it possible to adjust the alternator regulator to give the batteries more juice? Or is this not advisable. I run a split charge to do 2 batteries, but when i have the fan on to demist...

Raptor dash, gear stick love affair

I rotated the bottom mount 90 degrees, cut the shaft off at the base, then rewelded...perfect. May have to cut off some transfer gear level to get knob just a little lower, so it doesn`t foul the lever in H/L 2nd, 4th & 5th.

My 110 rolls like a pig in a corner - help

Gidday Lads, I drive a 110 300 Tdi Wagon. I had the same problems. I would check the rear lower control arm bushes. Cheap fix. I also fitted rear air bags, and added air to them as my load increased...excellent. Then added a Disco 1 rear sway bar. Fixings should be on chassis, if not weld...

    Heater control cables

Had a problem with my cable that controls fan and amount of vent. The outer cable was damaged so it would work. Put a couple of layers of heat shrink on it...works a treat! Cheers and happy xmas.

    Roller painting a car

Stick your roller in water, even if its enamel. The water keeps the air away so it stays moist. Next use, roll out the water on newspaper and away you go!;)

    Spot light problem.

Pull a hot wire from the reversing lamp itself. Run through a relay and bobs your uncle.

Thinking about an anti roll bar kit.

I have a Disco S1 on the rear and a 130 Defender on the front of my 1995 110 Wagon. Makes a huge difference on the road. Much less body roll, although tends to slightly under steer, but much more positive to drive.
