My hearing aid?

All tyres are circles make/model. Will test the circles tomorrow on a car park. If the noise did disappear at 70mph (ish) what would that indicate? Thank you

You know, funny you should say that. The drivers side front tyre DOES look a funny shape, when I look at it head on. Like a bulge at the bottom, as if it's going flat. But then I check it's inflated at the garage, and it is. No matter how much I inflate it, the bulge is there. Hope it's that...

To me, it really sounds like front drivers side, not all around. Ah well, it's booked in on Wednesday :(

Well bearing sounded like the lesser of the two jobs. Is there a way to tell, by sound ?

Thanks GrumpyGel. Yep, he told me the diff is the most expensive so I'm hoping it's just a bearing or something. Anything that doesn't cost hundreds!!

Hey, I have a humming noise that kicks in around 30mph. To me it sounds like it's coming from the front driver's side, sounds like the hum rotates with the wheel. I took a mechanic in it, he couldn't decipher between a bearing or diff. He thought sometimes it sounded more central...

Well I fixed it, and didn't lose any fingers. You were totally right . It recalibrated itself pretty much straight away. Thank you all so much for your help :)

How is the painting going? Does it look okay? You should show us some before & after photos. Just looked on Ebay, the carrier's are really cheap to buy, but have the same cosmetic problems :doh:
